Heading to Ed Napleton Honda, Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn and Napleton’s River Oaks Honda, the new 2020 Honda HR-V Sport features a host of new features as well as long-lasting reliability.

2019 Honda HR-V Sport

Fresh off a 2019 model year refresh, the new Honda HR-V continues with its classic good looks, which sends notice it’s a member of the Honda family of automobiles and SUVs. Starting with a bold, chromed trim piece over a black under-bumper grille, it’s a smart-looking Compact CUV with the ability to appeal to all ages and needs.

The HONDA HR-V SPORT: THE PERFECT CARRYALL

2019 Honda HR-V Sport

In addition to its good looks, the Honda HR-V brings it in a variety of other ways, too. The HR-V is the perfect vehicle to find its way around the Urban Center of a town. Whether the challenges are tight parking spaces or tight corners, the HR-V is built to deliver. Owners will find class-leading cargo space and according to Honda, class-above interior refinement.

2019 Honda HR-V Sport

The new Honda HR-V is available in five trim levels ranging from LX, EX, EX-L and Touring models with updated headlamps and new bumpers, grille and taillights. Add to that the HR-V Sport for a model with blackout trim and 18-inch wheels. Added to the lineup last year, the Sport model has become one of the most popular versions within the HR-V lineup.

POWER FROM THE HOUSE OF i-VTEC

2019 Honda HR-V Sport

Power for the 2020 Honda HR-V Sport comes from a 1.8-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine that produces 141 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque. That engine is connected to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It is mated to Honda’s Real Time all-wheel-drive, which is an available option on all trim levels and standard with the HR-V Touring package. With this option, the RT-AWD operates the HR-V in front-wheel-drive mode to help save fuel. When sensors detect wheel-slippage, the system’s clutch engages and sends power to the rear wheels for enhanced stability and improved traction in foul weather or mild off-road use.

SAFETY AND DRIVER ASSISTANCE

Standard on the HR-V EX and above trim levels, Honda Sensing is a suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies. The Honda Sensing system includes Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking, and other features that seemingly defy physics. Working seamlessly to the point you don’t realize they are there; it’s a suite of goods that you grow to appreciate if they are ever needed.

But these are just words. and frankly we are happy you are reading them here on Napleton.news They don’t do justice to the experience of driving the HR-V yourself. Get in there and do it.

I've loved everything on wheels: Trains, Planes and definitely Automobiles. I am constantly in search of the latest in new technology, which makes our lives better each day, but will always respect the classics. You can't continue forward without first taking a look back at where you've been.
