NEW HONDA RIDGELINE CUTS AN IMPOSING FIGURE

The Honda Ridgeline is getting a new look that makes it tougher than ever. Its new, refreshed look for the 2021 model year includes a new front end that will bolster both its street- and off-road credentials. The new vehicles will begin to appear in dealerships early next year.

WITH THE HONDA RIDGELINE TOUGH ISN’T JUST A TAGLINE

The new Honda Ridgeline will launch early in the 2021 model year with a bold look to reflect its new rugged characteristics and capabilities. Able to attack dirty, mud-strewn trails, or highways and twisty mountain roads, the Ridgeline is complete with standard V6 power and the best standard AWD model payload capacity.

EXTERIOR ENHANCEMENTS

The 2021 Ridgeline is new from the windshield forward. That means there’s all-new sheet metal, including new front fenders, a sculpted power-bulged hood, a more upright grille, with LED headlights for better illumination. Black or Chrome crossbars tie the front end together in a cohesive and rugged look that is guaranteed to turn heads. The new front bumper utilizes vents that help create air curtains, which improve aerodynamic performance.  An under-bumper skid plate helps to protect vital parts and add to the aggressive new looks.

All trim levels feature new 18-inch wheels, which are complete with a 20mm-wider stance. See? Tougher!

HONDA PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT CHECKING IN

Honda Performance Development (HPD) is also a part of the new Honda Ridgeline for 2021. Available for the very first time, the Ridgeline can take advantage of the HPD Package, which adds a unique grille treatment, black fender flares, aggressive bronze wheels and special HPD graphics on the bed walls. It is just one of the available post-production option (PPO) trim packages that can be ordered for the Ridgeline, which includes utility, function and function+ equipment.

LOOKING STRONGER INSIDE, TOO

The new Ridgeline interior already includes class-leading passenger comfort and rear seat legroom. It will receive an upgraded audio package with new graphics, icons, and for glove wearers, a physical volume knob! Sport, RTL and RTL-E trim levels receive a new dashboard, steering wheel, and center console look. And once again, the Ridgeline’s flat floor and foldaway 60/40 rear seat bottoms offer increased storage as needed.

MOTIVATION!

Every 2021 Honda Ridgeline will be powered by a 3.5-liter, 280 horsepower direct-injected V6 engine. An available i-VTM4 Torque Vectoring All-Wheel-Drive system (standard on RTL-E and Ridgeline Black Edition models) can automatically send up to 70-percent of the V6’s 262 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheel and up to 100-percent to the left or right wheels depending on the vehicle’s tractive needs. While the rear-wheel-drive model is equipped for snow and pavement, the AWD system is prepped for those as well as mud and sandy conditions.

A full suite of safety features are included with the Ridgeline and feature such desirable items as Honda Sensing with Collision Mitigation Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control.
