Infiniti QX50 Receives 2020 Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Award

The 2020 Infiniti QX50 was recently named the recipient of the 2020 Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Award for the category of premium compact crossovers/SUVs. This is the second consecutive year the QX50 has taken home the hardware, setting a new standard of excellence for the luxury automotive brand.

“We are honored to have won the Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Award for the second year in the row,” said Jeff Pope, Group Vice President of Infiniti Americas. “This award shows that our planners, designers, and engineers understand what consumers want year over year and we are proud to deliver that with the QX50.”

Roughly 150 other 2020 models in the class from brands like Lexus and Acura were test-driven before Consumer Guide Automotive ultimately named the Infiniti QX50 as the winner. Some of these vehicles include top-sellers like the 2020 Lexus NX and 2020 Acura RDX.

When it comes to key elements that make the QX50 stand taller than the rest of the competition, Consumer Guide was swayed by the signature Infiniti exterior styling, along with the addition of new trim levels. The new QX50 Sensory and QX50 Autograph grade levels, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, and new-generation infotainment system.

The cabin of the award-winning crossover has a sliding rear bench, panoramic moon roof, and asymmetric interior design. This driver-centric composition provides a soothing, comfortable ambiance that makes owners look forward to the next time they get behind the wheel.

In order to win the Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Award, the vehicle cannot simply look pleasant; it must perform well. This is the most important factor that is taken into consideration and the QX50 accelerates and handles like a dream. This is due to the QX50’s 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine that delivers fuel economy of 26 mpg combined with front-wheel drive and 25 mpg combined with all-wheel-drive models.
