The 2021 Lexus IS luxury sports sedan will make its world debut on Tuesday, June 9 at 7 p.m. EDT. The unveiling will take place online with an official Facebook event so lovers of the IS can check in to see what the newest generation looks like in real-time.
So far we don’t know too many details surrounding the IS except for the dark teaser image of the car’s taillights, and the indication that the 2021 Lexus IS will be “dressed to impress.”
However, speculation can be fun and there is a lot of information we can unpack simply from these two small pieces of information.
Something that is still very unclear is what kind of powertrain options will be made available for the newest model IS. Currently, the 2020 version has three powertrains to choose from between the 4-cylinder turbo in rear-wheel drive, V6 rear-wheel drive, and V6 all-wheel drive.
Make sure to tune in next Tuesday to see the official reveal from Lexus by bookmarking the event link and setting a reminder for yourself for Tuesday, June 9 at 7 p.m. EDT.
For more information on how to reserve one of these new models, the Ed Napleton Automotive Group has two Lexus dealerships in the greater Minneapolis area. You don’t have to be local to inquire about buying or leasing a 2021 Lexus IS thanks to the group’s Accelerate America initiative.
