Chevrolet Teams Up With Realtree For Special Edition Silverado

Chevrolet has collaborated with famed camouflage company Realtree to design a special limited edition Silverado model. The 2021 Silverado Realtree pickup combines the rugged capabilities of Chevy’s most popular truck with the aggressive styling of one of the top camo apparel brands in the country.

“Silverado continues to offer customers more choice and capability where it counts,” said Bob Krapes, director of Chevrolet Truck Marketing. “Building on the popular Custom Trail Boss model, the new Realtree Edition offers hunting and fishing enthusiasts a truck perfectly matched to their passions.”

This is the second time in five years that Chevrolet and Realtree combined efforts to make a special edition model. The 2016 Silverado Realtree was wildly popular as fans of both brands anxiously awaited the unveiling of the predominately black pickup.

Now in its second go-around, the 2021 Silverado Realtree Edition has a white base, making those camo designs pop even more. But what people really like about this truck is its elevated capabilities that make for a one-of-a-kind driving experience to nurture the explorer within.

The special edition model is powered by a 5.3L V-8 engine with a 6-speed transmission. Upgrading to the 6.2L V-8 engine will get you 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

More goodies include a two-inch factory suspension lift, 20-inch black wheels with Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT On-Off Road Tires and the Silverado’s Z71 Off-Road Package. In short, this pickup has just about everything a person could want to take it deep into the woods.

If you venture out too far into the wilderness, however, it might make it hard to spot the truck. The exterior of the special edition model contains camouflage graphics throughout with the Realtree logo integrated across the bedliner. The end result is a modern pickup that drives every bit as good as it looks.

“Having worked closely with Chevrolet all these years, it’s great to see the team come out with the new 2021 Silverado Realtree Edition using our latest Timber pattern,” said Realtree designer and president, Bill Jordan. “You don’t realize how much goes into building a true performance truck until you look behind the scenes, and this new truck will mean so much to all outdoor enthusiasts.”
