Peggy Adams Dog Walk
Since the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League’s annual Barry Crown Walk for the Animals is the largest event of its type in Palm Beach country, it’s only natural that Napleton Northlake Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram become involved with it. Named for Palm Beach and Chicago philanthropist Barry Crown, the walk is now in its 19th year and continues to get bigger and better.
The Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League’s mission statement is to provide shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals, to provide spay, neuter and other medical services for companion animals, and to care for, protect, and find quality homes for homeless and neglected companion animals, to advocate animal welfare, community involvement and education to further the bond between people and animals.
To that end, the Lake Park, FL dealership has donated a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Ram ProMaster Van to the shelter along with a check for $10,000, which will help extend their outreach to animals in need of care and a good home.
Edward Napleton Jr, said, “My family loves getting involved in the communities we serve, and here at Napleton, we love our pets. “
“We heard that their Pet Mobile was going away and knew our vehicles could help. We donated a Grand Cherokee and a ProMaster Van and knew they would immediately be put to good use,” said Edward Napleton. “The end result is two great companies working together to save thousands of lives.”
“Napleton is so very generous and one of our largest partners. These new donations will enable us to transport animals to and from events and even in emergency situations,” said Kaitlyn Seyler, Senior Event and Marketing Coordinator for Peggy Adams. “We helped with the animals displaced in the Bahamas by Hurricane Dorian. The League took in many animals from rescue groups that needed a little bit of extra help from us. Our reach is not only local but national and international, too.
“We wanted to partner up with a non-profit company that really makes a difference, and the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League was a perfect fit, said Napleton’s Eddie Napleton. “What better way to show the community we care than to partner up with a long-standing organization like Peggy Adams.”
