2021 Honda Pilot SE Has Premium Features Come Standard

The 2021 Honda Pilot has a new special edition (SE) trim that is loaded with premium features like 20-inch black wheels and trim, hands-free power tailgate, and wireless phone charging.

Additional upgrades to the Pilot LX include a dual-zone automatic climate control to make the cabin feel comfortable every time you get behind the wheel.

One of the biggest changes comes in the form of the all-new 9-speed automatic transmission. This is now standard across the entire lineup of Pilot models and it includes helpful features like paddle shifters and Idle Stop.

Speaking of beneficial features coming standard, the new special editions have a long list of equipment that was only previously available in the top trim level. Some of the new upgrades include leather seats, second-row sunshades, and a power driver’s seat with two-position memory settings.

But the fun doesn’t stop there.

According to a press release from Honda, the Pilot Touring continues to offer premium features that include Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System, Blu-Ray based rear-seat entertainment, parking sensors, in-car Wi-Fi, heated second-row outboard seats, available second-row Captain’s Chairs, and exterior styling enhancements that include inline LED headlights, and chrome door handles.

We’re going to pause to take a deep breath before continuing on because there are even more features.

Are you ready? Here we go.

The press release goes on to mention that the Pilot Elite trim adds standard second-row Captain’s Chairs, dual moonroof, ventilated front seats, auto-dimming and power-folding side mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and a heated steering wheel. The Black Edition adds black-painted wheels, blackout trim on the grille, window surround, and red interior lighting for a fun ambient effect.

The most impressive feat of the new Honda Pilot is how it effortlessly combines off-roading capabilities in a family-friendly package. If Hollywood was ever looking to make another family movie based on a wacky road trip, the Honda pilot should be their first choice to serve as the vehicle that gets them from A to B.

If you want to live your own adventure off-screen, be sure to peruse the Honda Pilot models available for sale at one of the Ed Napleton Automotive Group’s three retail locations in the Midwest. Even if you aren’t local to the Illinois and Missouri area, you can take advantage of the group’s Accelerate America program to get a 2021 Honda Pilot delivered to your front door.
