Say Hello To The 2020 Honda Passport

Now that December is finally here, the 2020 Honda Passport has begun arriving at dealerships nationwide. The rugged, adventure-ready SUV tries to blend on-road comfort for long trips with robust off-road capabilities.

If you’re reading this post, you might be wondering if the new Passport is right for you. Before we get into the highlights of this versatile sport utility vehicle, take a look at some of the photos to help you visualize what makes the 2020 Passport unique.

The Passport is equipped with a standard i-VTEC® V6 engine, Honda Sensing® and a list of helpful driver-assist technology. It comes in seven succinct trims that each offers a little something different. For example, the Sport 2WD trim offers a base level of practicality and performance while the Passport Elite AWD comes fully loaded.

Trims from the base level to its top tier are as follows:

  • Sport 2WD
  • Sport AWD
  • EX-L 2WD
  • EX-L AWD
  • Touring 2WD
  • Touring AWD
  • Elite AWD

All trim levels come with standard with 20-inch wheels, a matte-black grille, and an increased ride height. This allows for a more athletic proportion and stance compared to the larger three-row SUVs on the market.

As a midsize SUV, it stacks up favorably between the CR-V and the three-row Pilot in Honda’s lineup. With a best-in-class interior volume space, there is plenty of room to seat up to five adults comfortably, a feat that is hard to achieve for an SUV of this size.

Only time will tell if the 2020 Passport will be a success, but Honda has done everything in its power to create a winner with wide customer appeal. You just might see a lot more people signing up for a Passport (with a capital P) so they can take more adventures in the new year.
