The 2021 Hyundai Elantra at Speed on Hyundai's Mojave Test Track.
Hyundai held the world premiere reveal of the new 2021 Hyundai Elantra, March 17, 2020, at “The Lot” Studios in West Hollywood. Globally, the brand’s best-seller, it returns to its sport sedan roots with their new ambitious Parametric Dynamics design language.
Hyundai stated that almost 14 million Elantra models have been sold since its introduction in 1990. To Napleton.news’s eyes, the new Elantra features a sporty four-door coupe-like look that is longer, lower and wider than ever before.
The company released the first images of the all new 2021 Elantra, last week. The new seventh-generation Elantra features a new edgy, aggressive look based on parametric shapes and textures that reflect on the brand’s new design identity. The livestreamed event was shown online at the hyundaiusa.com website. By going there, viewers will also find teaser videos and images before the reveal.
The all-new 2021 Elantra features cutting edge engineering and design. Designed “in a box” (Actually a computer), the Elantra is a result of advanced digital design technology that features Parametric Dynamics design. What’s that? It’s where three lines converge to meet at one point. One of the main aspects of the language, it is clearly seen on the Elantra door panels. Hyundai designers confess it is a daring challenge that few artists have tried in the past.
The interior design uses a style that Hyundai has termed the “Immersive Cocoon.” Its purpose is to create a driver-focused user experience. There are low, wide structures that lead from the door and connect at the center console. Two high-definition displays blend to present a racing-inspired feel within the car.
Check out the video above, and then come to your local Napleton Hyundai dealership for more information and to arrange a test drive.
