With nothing but open air surrounding you as you cruise down an empty highway, nothing can match the feeling of driving a convertible. Lexus is going to give you an option to capture that joy once again with the first-ever LC 500 convertible.
This is the first convertible that Lexus has designed in five years… And it couldn’t have come at a better time either.
People are clamoring for a reason to get out of the house to enjoy the outdoors. After all, it’s summer. But there’s one major reason why a lot of us are hesitant to get out and explore, and we all know what I’m talking about.
“The decision to purchase a convertible is typically an emotional one,” said Lisa Materazzo, Lexus vice president of marketing. “More so than other vehicles it evokes a sense of escape and freedom by heightening the driving experience. There’s simply no substitute for the universal human emotion of joy that comes from an open-air drive. The LC Convertible is purpose-built to create those memory-making moments.”
If you’re tired of staring at the television screen night after night, you can get out to safely enjoy the warm weather by taking a pleasure cruise in your favorite convertible. The all-new Lexus LC 500 might just be the very vessel to take you on that journey.
But is it worth it?
According to a press release from Lexus, the 2021 LC 500 Convertible is developed with performance and styling at its core – in alignment to its counterpart, the flagship LC 500 coupe. Created with a low center of gravity, the soft-top vehicle carries unmatched agility and luxury styling for a dynamic driving experience.
Some of the highlights of the innovative model include a 471-horsepower naturally aspirated V8 engine, Lexus Climate Concierge, and advanced sound engineering to cut down on unwanted noise while driving with the top down.
Drivers interested in taking the shiny new convertible out for a drive won’t have to wait long to do so. The luxury automaker claims that the model will be available in dealerships nationwide before the end of summer.
