Maserati Expands Trofeo Collection!

Maserati has added the Quattroporte and Ghibli to its high-performing Trofeo collection. The two luxury sedans join the Levante in getting the top-of-the-line treatment. This means that each model in the Trofeo collection comes with a powerful V8 engine, improved performance capabilities, and a robust interior.

While Maserati’s trident symbol has always represented the three pillars of performance, style, and flawless handling, the Trofeo collection takes each one to the next level. The first defining characteristic that is noticeable in the new models has to be the exterior design choices.

Both the Quattroporte and Ghibli have a front grille that includes twin vertical bars in Black Piano finish. Additionally, the super-sedans now include carbon fiber on the front air duct trims and rear extractor, for an even more aggressive effect.

An official statement from Maserati said the following when it comes to other details surrounding the expanded Trofeo collection.

“Like Levante Trofeo, the new Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo also incorporate the Integrated Vehicle Control (IVC) system, with a specific setup that guarantees enhanced driving dynamics, greater active safety, and even more thrilling performance. The sedans have the Corsa button that sets the car for an even sportier driving style. Also included is Launch Control, a function that first appeared on Levante Trofeo, to unleash all the engine’s power and deliver breath-taking performance and an authentic Maserati driving experience.”

While the exterior looks a lot more aggressive, the cabin of both the Quattroporte and Ghibli Trofeo received some upgrades as well. Each sedan has a new on-board panel that displays an exclusive interface at switch-on, while the headrests bear the Trofeo badge with the name in three-dimensional relief.

Furthermore, the addition of new technologies works in tandem with the MIA (Maserati Intelligent Assistant) system. The multimedia screen comes with a better resolution and larger size – 10.1-inches on both Ghibli Trofeo and Quattroporte Trofeo.

Lastly, thanks to the Maserati Connect program, now the Trofeo collection is always connected, with a full set of services to simplify its use.
