Mitsubishi Motors is putting in the overtime in preparation for the new vehicles the brand is introducing for the 2021 model year. The company, which is a JD Power top-rated Japanese brand, is in the middle of a considerable new vehicle investment in North America.
Napleton.news learned that new highlights would include the following notable products:
Scheduled to occur through the end of Spring 2021, Mitsubishi Motors will launch three substantially revised vehicles, as well as a reimagining of an existing nameplate. It will show off the brand’s commitment to quality, value and cutting-edge technology on all the vehicles they sell in North America.
Available at the end of 2020, the new Outlander Sport arrives as a 2021 model with significant changes inside and out. It will be loaded with a new and improved level of standard features. Already Mitsubishi Motors’ best-selling model in North America, its updates will help keep the momentum going.
Available in Winter 2020, the World’s best-selling plug-in hybrid vehicle sees major revisions, including a new powertrain. That powertrain includes a larger internal-combustion engine with more horsepower and a greatly-improved electric drive system with more range and quicker operations.
An extensively redesigned exterior improves the most fuel-efficient non-hybrid gasoline-fueled vehicle. Add to that, a new rich look, better equipment, bold styling, and more standard safety features.
Available in early 2021 as a 2022 model, the new Eclipse Cross sees an extensive front and rear redesign featuring Mitsubishi’s new design language. The Eclipse Cross will also include a fresh new interior and infotainment system.
Available in Q2 as a 2022 model, the all-new Outlander will be bigger, bolder, and better than before. It is on track to being the quietest and best-equipped Mitsubishi ever sold in the US market. Re-thought, the new Outlander will include the latest Mitsubishi design language and loads of technology and interior refinements. The company states it will be a major surprise for everyone.
