The 2020 Toyota 4Runner will have a brand-new package called the Venture Edition that is brilliantly engineered for outdoor activities. With a reimagined exterior design that features gunmetal-colored 17-inch TRD wheels, black accents, and a rear spoiler, the Venture Edition calls to explorers everywhere and implores you not to resist your sense of adventure.
Here’s a quick look at some of the features that will be included in the 2020 4Runner Venture Edition package to help drivers explore the path less traveled:
In addition to these features designed specifically for the Venture Edition, the 4Runner will also have Toyota’s active safety system TSS-P on all grades and an updated infotainment system that includes a larger 8-inch touchscreen, Apple Carplay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa compatibility, according to a Toyota press release.
One key feature that Toyota chose to include on the Venture Edition is a new instrumentation panel that includes a 4.2-inch MID screen. This allows the driver to control TSS-P safety functions and view other real-time vehicle details like air tire pressure monitoring and fuel economy. Passengers in the back seats will also be happy since they are set up with two standard USB ports to charge devices. Lastly, Venture Edition will also boast standard Smart Key with Push Button Start to make firing up the engine a breeze.
The visual appearance of the 2020 4Runner Venture Edition says, “adventure is out there and I’m going to find it,” and it backs up this claim in a big way. The Venture Edition is built on 4Runner’s proven body-on-frame construction that features a four-link rear axle and coil-spring suspension. It is equipped with a part-time 4WD system that features a 2-speed transfer case with a selectable low range, according to the press release.
You can check in with local Toyota dealerships immediately to see if they have the 2020 Toyota 4Runner Venture Edition models available. These new SUVs come with Toyota’s 36-month/36,000-mile basic new-vehicle warranty. ToyotaCare also comes as a complimentary plan covering normal factory-scheduled maintenance and 24-hour roadside assistance for two years or 25,000 miles.
