The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette 70th Anniversary Edition is Chevrolet’s way to celebrate its status as the longest-running nameplate in the automotive world today. Through eight generations, it has pushed the envelope for performance, style and technology. We at Napleton News have even had a chance to put a few through their paces. So yeah, we’re excited and jazzed for an anniversary party, too.
As part of the celebration, Chevrolet will offer special commemorative badging and features. These will reside on the 2023 Corvette Stingray and 2023 Corvette Z06 Anniversary Edition models. Two unique colors will adorn the 70th Anniversary Edition Corvettes. The first is an all-new White Pearl Metallic Tri-Coat, while the other is Carbon Flash Metallic. Buyers can customize the colors with available Satin Grey (White Pearl) and Satin Black with the Carbon Flash Metallic paint.
“Passion for Corvette runs deep at Chevrolet and this anniversary is extra special because of the excitement and sales success we’ve achieved with the eighth generation of America’s iconic sportscar,” said Steve Majoros, VP of Chevrolet marketing.
The passion is so deep that through the years, Corvette designers have tried to press the envelope by introducing various concept vehicles. Famous concepts like the Corvette Mako Shark I and Mako Shark II are examples of these. There’s also the Corvette SS, Corvette CERV I, II, III and everybody’s favorite, the Corvette Aerovette Wankel Concept.
