Eddie Napleton in Office
Eddie Napleton about the first GM orientation class for Napleton Automotive Group. Getting new General Managers familiar with the corporate team is crucial to their future success. “GM orientation is a great way to ensure our general managers understand all the tools they have at their disposal” Says Eddie Napleton. The Napleton family continues to do their best in teaching their values to their general managers with this new orientation. With this new orientation process, our new General Managers will be familiar with our whole support staff. A support staff that is available to them around the clock.
Napleton Automotive is proud to officially welcome it’s latest group of General Managers. Having 3 of 4 general managers here because of promotions, makes for an exciting time for the whole staff. The Napleton’s have always been adamant about looking within the company prior to hiring from the outside. A quality inherited from prior generations. Now that same thing is being passed down to Eddie’s children (all 3 generations pictured below). After very much hard work, these 3 new GMs are ready for a larger role within the company. Aside from the work it takes to earn such a position, that isn’t the only thing potential GMs must show. They must share the values of the company and display a high regard for its customers as well.
An excited Eddie Napleton says: “Of the four general managers needed, to have three of them getting here by promotion… That is an amazing thing!” That means not only have they shown a high regard for Napleton Automotive customers, but they put in the hard work it takes to get here. Eddie talking about work ethic: “It is representative of the hard work our employees put in at all levels of the organization. We are confident that we will be seeing great things from each of their respective stores”.
Napleton’s goal, is ensuring each of their 3000+ employees are in a position to succeed and grow personally and professionally. The Auto group consists of 82 franchises spanning 8 states, in 49 locations, with 25 different manufacturers. That allows our general managers to support each other across the country. Ensuring the corporate office was able to provide every employee the tools and training they need, was imperative to our success as well. Each level of Napleton Automotive’ s management team is designed to support employees across the country in every position. One reason for the orientation class, was to show each new general manager that they will receive support from a highly trained support staff. A support staff that even includes Eddie Napleton and his family who are always there to help.
This structure allows general managers both new & experienced to have the support needed as well as continuous training on the ever changing automotive space. This support system is important to ensure every employee can focus on the most important thing, and that is our customers. When asked about the company’s success, Eddie Napleton stated that: “After 90 years in business, the customer remains the number one priority for my family, our employees and the group as a whole.”
