Cars.com just announced that the 2020 Hyundai Veloster N is the most fun model to drive for the new year.
The Most Fun-to-Drive Car of the Year award is given to whichever model has encapsulated the judges from Cars.com, regardless if that joy occurs on or off a race track.
“Veloster N offers an exhilarating driving experience for drivers of all skill levels,” said Scott Margason, director, product planning, Hyundai Motor America. “We are elated to receive this award as it recognizes the vehicle’s thrilling drivability and performance from the track to winding canyon roads.”
Hyundai’s hatchback sports car was up against some stiff competition, edging out the 2020 Ford Mustang and 2020 Jeep Wrangler. Anybody who has driven either of those American machines knows that it’s hard to do so without wearing a smile across your face.
The South Korean automaker developed the N line-up to get the driver’s heart rate up every time they get behind the wheel. They definitely succeeded at achieving that feat, at least in the minds of the Cars.com judges.
The Veloster N has been developed to deliver thrilling cornering ability coupled with everyday sports car drivability and race track capability, according to a press release from Hyundai.
A few of the features that make the Veloster N so fun include Drive Mode Select, Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires, rear spoiler and 8” display audio with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android connectivity.
